Giving Back
Since 2002, the Hillsdale Farmers' Market has been where the harvest and Hillsdale meet. We are the place where SW Portland residents can buy the best the Northwest has to offer.
We are one of the few local farmers' markets that run year-round. While we remain a very "farmer forward" market focusing on farmers, ranchers, fisheries, bakers and other local food producers, we also welcome artisan craft vendors for the holidays as some of our seasonal produce vendors leave the market for the colder months.
Our market is bi-weekly in the winter and the market size may be a bit smaller than in high summer, but our operating costs remain the same. Funds raised during our winter giving campaign will be used to bolster the market through the quiet months, help us provide additional support and resources to our vendors, and to set some pretty cool things in motion for next season.
If you enjoy visiting the Hillsdale Farmers' Market, either occasionally or as a weekly shopping ritual, please consider donating to our Winter Giving Campaign. You can make a one-time donation or set up recurring donations on a weekly or monthly basis to contribute year-round.
We appreciate your support in any amount.
The fine print on finances:
Hillsdale Farmers' Market is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization, and donations are NOT tax deductible.
Givebutter charges a processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction; you will be offered a chance to cover that fee at checkout, if you choose.
If you prefer to donate via cash or check, we welcome those donations at the information booth on market days.
